A few days ago a friend emailed me a link to the dress pictures above and told me she thought it looked like something I would wear. While I’m not sure that I could pull-off those puffy sleeves without looking like a harlequin (especially in purple!), I was intrigued by the brand. I wasn’t familiar with the Designers Remix Collection, but after some online searching I’ve discovered that they have some wonderful contemporary-priced finds. The Scandinavian brand was founded in 2002 and is designed by a woman named Charlotte Eskildsen. Per their website the line is carried in over 500 stores worldwide (their flagship store is in Copenhagen), though I unfortunately can’t find a stockists in NYC. I don’t usually buy things from brands I’m not familiar with online, because it’s hard to tell quality, fit, etc from a photo, but I took a risk and just ordered the dress below. I’m not sure about the zipper in the back, but I absolutely love the front!
Tina, the second dress (the one your ordered) is much more my speed. Gorgeous!
