Father’s Day Finds from Philips

I was so excited to get to check-out the latest offering from Philips — I swear by my Sonicare (they’re coming-out with a Sonicare for Kids in August!). Seriously I have not had a cavity since I got my first one six years ago and I talk about how great the Clarisonic is (this is not a Philips products, but it’s made from the same folks as the Sonicare toothbrush), so often (I’ve bought one for both my parents, my boyfriend, and my brother), that my brother once asked me if I was secretly a paid spokesperson. If you or a loved one don’t use either of these, I urge you to look into them — your skin and teeth will thank you! For men specifically, I was introduced to a number of cool new razors and trimmers at the event. The two that stood-out most however are the Philips Norelco Speed 8200 series ($99.99 – $189.99) and the Philips Norelco 1090 arcitec ($169.99 – $249.99). Jump for more!

The Philips Norelco Speed 8200 series’ razors have triple-track shaving heads that cover 50% shaving area to reduce shave time, one-hour charge that provides 50 minutes worth of shaving time, and two sleek body design options —

The Philips Norelco arcitec series’ razors have flex and pivot capabilities allowing for 360-degree pivot action for optimum skin contact for a meticulous shave on the face and more challenging contours of the neck and chin. It has an ultra-slim ergonomic design that allows it to fit snugly in the hand; it is lighter, more comfortable to hold and has a precision tube trimmer for precise beard, moustache and sideburn maintenance. One-hour charge provides 65 minutes or 21 days worth of shaving time.

On a side note (or if you could get away with giving dad a rain check!), Philips has got a trimmer coming-out in August that is said to deliver “the perfect stubble” so stay tuned!
