Celeb Trend: New Bourgeoisie

While we have been seeing stars like Beyonce and fashionistas like Nina Garcia embrace the fierce trend by sporting military-style Balmain numbers and glitzy accents, many stars are opting for dropped waists on their fitted dresses, covered knees, high-waist skirts, and traditional styles (including lots of simple, but very high-heeled black pumps). This has created a veritable duality in the dominant trends we’re seeing right now. What I love most about this duality is that they can easily be mixed and matched (think Victoria Beckham who can rock a ODLR cocktail dress one day and an angular Balmain blazer the next). What do you think about Bourgeoisie vs. Fierce? Jump for some Bourgeoisie looks!
