LC in Rebecca Minkoff

There are few bags at this price point that are as covetable as the Rebecca Minkoff Supernova Stud Devote Handbag ($695). I’ve been eyeing it for a few weeks now and can’t decide whether to get it in black or brown

. It’s one of the few bags I’ve seen that uses studs without it feeling overly-trendy/rocker-like. Not that it looks like it per se, but the Supernova feels very similar to Miu Miu’s Studded Shoulder Bag in spirit (a bag which by the way I bought early this year and love!). They both stand-out because of their over-sized size and use of big, round studs. The Minkhoff is lighter than Miu Miu’s version for those who consider weight a make it or break it issue. I’m liking the buckled strap detail at the sides and the gold hardware and unlike most of the handbags I currently wear on a daily basis, this style has a single shoulder strap. The only downside is that the closure is a magnetic-snap which always causes me to worry about pick-pockets. That said there is ton of room in the bag, so most everything falls to the bottom (hence the slouchy-ness you see in the photo of Lauren Conrad carrying the bag).
