DVF Belle Clutch

Loving this adorable pleated clutch toughened up with multi sized gold studs!  It’s very Studio 54, I can totally picture DVF rockin’ it with a slinky little dress.  The pleated leather is squishy and soft and the sprinkling of round studs is way more feminine and timeless than its square counterpart.  I never thought I’d be into gold hardware again, the ’80s was a distant memory but now it’s back in full force so I’m going to jump right back in without missing a beat.  What about you, how do you feel about gold hardware?

By the way, don’t let the photos deceive you, it is a large clutch at 15″ wide with a 16″ optional shoulder strap.

  1. While I like the shape, I find the gold studs a bit off-putting. They remind me of the bacteria cultures I grew for a middle school project. They were all these icky pale yellow round globs of gross, and made my skin crawl. I guess they’re very cute objectively, but it just takes me back to those disgusting bacteria cultures.

  2. I totally love this bag! On the subject of gold hardwear – I wear white gold and silver jewelery but love gold hardware on black bags. It gives them a cool rockstar edge.
