My Little Steamer

I don’t know how to iron, I actually make things worse by adding creases to it. I am ashamed to admit that because of this inadequacy, I sometimes leave the house looking a bit frumpled. And besides, some things like silk and thin cashmere, can’t even be ironed. I bought a giant stand up steamer years ago, but who has the time to hook that thing up in the morning when you’re already running late? Of course, I just send everything to the dry cleaner, only to leave it there for a month because I keep forgetting to pick it up. OK, my life isn’t as disorganized as I’m making it sound, but if I can just get my clothes to be nicely pressed, it would make a huge difference. The My Little Steamer is from Joy Mangano who made the huggable hangers that we love so much. She knows how to make a girl’s life easier. I have other small steamers but none of them work, they don’t give off enough steam to do anything, you’re better off hanging it in the shower which of course does nothing. This is also super lightweight and tiny, so you can pack this when traveling!! It comes in a bunch of cute colors, too.
