Valentino 360 in Black Sequins

I finally watched Valentino: The Last Emperor and I was moved to tears.  Valentino, you get me and all women… WE JUST WANT TO FEEL BEAUTIFUL!  I’d like to forget all of my rules of functionality and practicality for a moment and just follow my heart. I want a bag to thrill me, excite me and to put a smile on my face every time I look at it. I don’t need it to carry toys, sippy cups, iPhones or any of the things that I’m boggled with in my daily life. I just want it to be fabulous!  Impractical if necessary but as long as it is beautiful, I don’t care! I know the Emperor is no longer at the helm but this bag, the 360 bag covered in embroidered sequins, represents to me everything that is Valentino, wrapped up in one glittery and glamorous bag. Even the giant bow is insanely fab, like the topping to a delicious cake. At Valentino boutiques worldwide. Retail price $4,895 (crazy expensive but the workmanship of each embroidered sequin is something to be seen!)

Call 214-750-5707 to order. Valentino also available at Saks.

  1. Tina, I must be very hormonal these days, but I almost started crying when I saw this bag. You know when you see something so utterly beautiful that it brings tears to your eyes…

Anyhow, the reality of the price tag made my eyes dry up instantly…I will check out other Valentino bags with this design that are way less costly…

  2. i dun think this bag is beautiful at all.it looks like a beach bag with sequins all over it and a giant bow! and the price is too expensive! i just don’t get it

  3. I think it is just so beautiful-left me speechless.

I think we all need impractical, pretty things to brighten up our days-we’re women after all!

  4. Yuck, I think it’s pretty heinous, not to mention impractical to a fault. Lrge bags are for daytime use, which will be in heavy rotation and subject to abuse. If you’ve ever had sequins, you will know that the shine eventually wears off – it’s just a coating of colored film after all. It will look terrible after a month’s use. Also the design is bad – the size of the bag and big floppy bow warrant a slightly thicker handle and the bow is shaped funny. To think, you could buy one classic large Chanel bag and have enough money left over for a girl’s spa weekend vacation for the price of this thing.

  5. I am loving the controversy! This is one of those Love it or Hate it bags. No in between 🙂

Keep sending your comments, we are enjoying the different points of Snob view 🙂

  6. You have to see this bag in SILVER! Of course it’s expensive. It is all hand-done. I have the Silver one at SAKS and I am looking for a buyer. It is a work of art.

  7. DO BIG BOWS BLOW?

this bag is sick, crazy beautiful in person. It’s just lovely. For me-too lovely. The bow is so not me but I love it.

Phillip Lim donned a gold bow on his studded bag which just ruined it for me. I dont get these little extra’s that designers slap on to what is a perfect silhouette. The little gold studs on raw black leather. So cool. Then that big gold wire bow. Don’t like it. Don’t think it’s cute or cool either.

  8. I do not think I would ever buy they bag, but it is beautiful. I am someone who loves fashion and so to see something so fabulous and magical makes my heart skip a beat. It does not make me want to buy this bag, but instead I bought three pairs of shoes from the website. It is a great advertisement piece.
