Maison Martin Margiela usually has pretty crazy bags and although this one is not without its unusual twist, it is ultra functional. Your typical flap bag you say? No, the flap has a zipper compartment so you can store, uh, I don’t know what, nothing to poofy I imagine. But for me, I can think of some flat things that would go well in there, like pictures of my kids, membership cards – things that aren’t in constant need. There is still a definite hipness factor and I am seriously digging it as a great everyday bag that is anything but boring. At Saks Fifth Avenue for $945.
