Michael Kors Tonne Bag

Soccer moms, corporate climbers and the all-around well dressed: have I got a bag for you. Michael Kors‘s supremely stylish yet versatile large shoulder bag–it’s featured prominently on mode du jour Carmen Kass in the designer’s spring campaign–is worth checking out. Four metal feet and ample (AMPLE) storage room aside, this hold-all is available in four combinations–soft calf with python trim, pearlized calf with Karung Trim, soft calf with Karung trim (California stores only) and python–but it’s this Optic White leather with silver hardware that I like. There’s nothing like a crisp white bag to usher in spring (just be wary where you set it). While I’m not normally a fan of overzealous hardware, I particularly like the rounded glimmering metal trim on the handles as well as on the outer pocket–the overall look is very graphic and architectural, much like the clothing from said season. The leather drawstrings on either side, meanwhile, keep your belongings out of sight from prying eyes. Kors has enjoyed success with his accessories thanks in large part to the talented Richard Sinnott (a former Harper’s Bazaar accessories director) who heads bag and shoe design. Michael, this guy’s a keeper. For life.

$995.00-$2,895.00 available at Michael Kors boutiques.

  1. I love the overall design of this bag. It has such clean lines and is detailed without being over the top. The white is my fav too 🙂

  2. Such a unique design!! Especially with the Python touch on the hardware. Loves. Buying for a Mothers day gift. 🙂 Damn, the Fumo is sold out!!!
