Milan, Lovely but NO Internet!

Arghhh!!! A bloggers worst nightmare, no Internet at our apartment in Milan. We have been frantically searching high and low, even intruding on a friend’s office to connect to no avail. Finally we found a cafe near a hotel which has 24 hours of connection for 9 euros a day. A bargain if you ask me, what’s the point of being here if we can’t report what we are seeing???!!! We bought the AT&T international plan for 50M of data service but after one download of emails it already exceeded the data amount. We will try to bring you the latest in our shopping finds as well as fashion week of course. Please bear with us as we figure out how to work from here.

  1. When I moved into my apartment in Verona (not too far from Milan), we didn’t have internet and it was shocking! Severe withdrawal. Still don’t have it because it takes months to get those sort of things. Luckily, I found a good cafe that I can lounge at, sip aperitivos, and email away. Good Luck!

  2. Italian phone companies like WIND and Vodaphone have little USB internet keys that everyone uses in Italy. As far as I know, you pay for the key and then the months you use. Depending on how long you’ll be there, it might make sense to look into it?
