Tod’s D-Styling Bauletto Medio

The day Tod’s fails me will be a very sad day indeed. You just cannot overstate the beauty of their understated luxury. Luxury sounds like it should be excessive and impractical but that is exactly what Tod’s is not. That’s how I easily justify every Tod’s bag. Those are the only bags I retire from wear instead of outdatedness. This bag to me is like their driving moccasins – comfortable and personal, as in, it becomes a part of me. Relaxed and easy yet sophisticated and chic. I love the loose shape with the handcrafted feel of the center seam. With this style you do need to go bold with the color and red is certainly big and showy, but instead of a hard to wear candy apple, this muted soft red ensures wearability and longevity (also comes in tobacco – blah, but the gray is a yay!). At Bergdorf Goodman for $1445. There is also a black version at Saks.com
