This is shockingly sloppy for a Jil Sander. Not at all what I expect from a brand that is built on clean lines and immaculate tailoring. Yes, I expect the tailoring to translate to the bags as well because to me there is a certain amount of clean tailoring to quality bags that make it appealing. A cowl neck slouchy piece hanging off a bag is not appealing. Let’s leave the draping for dresses and use the body of the bag for slouching if so desired, please. I’m just disgusted because I hold Jil Sander in such high esteem for avoiding exactly this type of dregs. Don’t buy this bag, but it’s at Net-a-Porter for $1375.
