Admittedly, I am a bit behind just coming back from a long trip. Ironically, to stay ahead in fashion, we have to get a little behind on work =) I am not super upset by it though (unless of course someone out there is dying to have this!) because to me, this is a tea cup piglet. You know, you see one and you’re like “Oh my god! It is so cute!! I love it so much!!”, but you never had any intention of actually buying a tea cup piglet. And after a few minutes of loving it so much, you walk away and never look back. But for the moment, you are moonstruck and that does account for something! And then of course, there are those who do go out and buy a tea cup piglet (in my fantasy, I am still shopping for one). completely agree, initially was in love with this bag but have now seen it in person and am kind of over it. the baubles are actually quite big, too big, and they make the bag a bit silly. they are bigger than they look in the photos. if anyone is looking for one in London, they are in the Marni boutique or on net-a-porter.
forgot to add, for what this bag is, ie fun and quirky, I think the price is way too high at £955. I am really not liking the serious hike in prices in the last year or two in Marni bags. I swear not that long ago this bag would’ve been more like £700.
