I would have bet money that the bag Kristin Cavallari has been repeatedly photographed toting around was Marc by Marc Jacobs when I first saw it, but alas it’s actually Michael Michael Kors. I’m usually not a fan of the Kors diffusion line (especially the brand’s shoes..eeck!), but I’m liking this vanilla bag. At $498 the Gansevoort is an affordable, everyday spring bag, especially given that it’s leather. Its got side pockets, an interior zip pocket, 3 open pockets, a cell phone pocket, a keyfob, and a roomy interior so it’s super convenient. The goldtone hardware plays off nicely against the vanilla and I’m like the belt-like details which make this a memorable, yet still easy-to-wear bag. Plus you can play with the side straps to change-up the silhouette.
Is anyone else pleasantly surprised by this Kors design?
Remove the logo plaque and it is OK.
I am NOT surprised. I own 6 of his bags and am surfing eBay and craigslist to buy even more. His bags are always beautiful and have great leather and python. I would carry this bag if it were smaller.

not surprised – his bags are ok, but the designs are not original and they are overpriced. maybe ebay or tjm have better prices.
as for his shoes, i agree with you – they are the most uncomfortable, heavy and again, nothing original in terms of design.

I actually have one in black! I purchased it about 7 or 8 years ago. I haven’t used it much, but when I do I love it! I do like that vanilla bag, though! Great bag!
