Finally, a Longchamp that makes sense and is good enough to eat! This is totally in keeping with their look but it is actually hip and updated. That big outer pocket has always been their thing but they never seem to hit the target with something that the chic young folk would lust. Even the bags designed by Kate Moss were just “Eh”. I know this is very similar to the Givenchy Messenger, but no no, I won’t say the KO word, Longchamp came first with this look. The best part is, this is a bargain at $515!! At Saks Fifth Avenue.
Really, this is the Givenvhy Ombre Messenger.
This silhouette is used so much by so many designers, you can basically list more than just Givenchy that uses it. It’s becoming a basic. Nothing interesting about it except for the color.

I’m not that crazy about the bag itself but the color definitely rocks. It’s bright, fresh just perfect for the comming summer. I also have to agree it does remind me of Givenchy.
Love the color but SO over Longchamp. Bought one of their bucket bags awhile back and the leather (veneer!) peeled and puckered away from the bag. Sort of put me off LongC.
But the color is fab! It’s my favorite Valextra color.
