YSL did this last year for half the price. I know Alexander Wang is the cool new designer but the thing that we love most about him is his fantastic price point. So not only is this a total YSL knockoff of a pretty distinctive design, but he took a $395 clutch and made it for $625. It is slightly bigger but it shouldn’t account for the huge price hike. And if you’re going to copy, at least improve, which he did not – it looks too much like an actual spiral notebook. Is it quirky? Yeah, I’ll give him that. And the mock croc? Ack.
