Simply put, I am obsessed with how Phoebe Philo has evolved her Céline bags for resort. Yes, the shapes are quite basic and there are no hidden secrets or components to them–but isn’t that refreshing at times? In keeping with the modern and clean aesthetic that is her Céline ready-to-wear, Phoebe has delivered an impressive array of accessories (only yesterday a friend was complaining how all Céline shoes are sold out!), but it’s the bags I love. Phoebe really plays on the idea of variations of a theme for resort, expanding her now iconic Luggage tote to include a super-tiny version! Can you imagine? I’m just picturing an Angelina Jolie and Shiloh matching moment! The somewhat more subtle Classic bag (pictured here), on the other hand, has been injected with growth hormones and will be available in an extra-large size come November. Phoebe showed it on her models tucked underneath their arms–sort of like the female equivalent of a man’s attaché. And just to give things some extra flair, she injected a bolt of color via the inclusion of neon pops into the otherwise neutral palette.
Classic! Celine and Chloe have the best purses, IMO.
These are beautiful (saw IRL in boutique in Miami), but WAY OVERPRICED.

Why would you picture a Angelina Jolie and Shiloh and not an image of the daughter who enjoys the frilly things such as purses, Zahara. Is her adopted daughter not as real of a relationship as the blood one to you? What about her third daughter Viv when she gets older.
