What was Henry Holland thinking with this collaboration with Levi’s?? And more importantly who in the world is buying this? Lil Kim? Tacky and unflattering, these looks also seem like they’re incredibly uncomfortable. I’m not a big fan of denim, but as a Project Runway fan I know that covetable looks (other than pants), can be made out of the material. I think Henry Holland is a unique talent, but he should stick to designing t-shirts.

This is hipster tacky/ironic tacky, and to wear it you’re supposed to be in on the joke. It isn’t straightforwardly chic in the usual Couture Snob sense, but I think Leigh is pulling it off and someone like Chloe Sevigny could also have some fun with it.
