Consonant Body is a line of 100% organic and natural products from Canada. Fittingly their labels are super-cheeky and written in both English and French. As an example the body lotion’s bottle says –
“Hey you. Yeah, you. I see you there with that cheeky grin on your face. Wondering whether this premium organic location will feel as good as the compliments you’ll no doubt receive after using it. You’re a savvy consumer. Examining every last detail. Ensuring it contains the finest quality natural ingredients. Wondering whether it’s safe for all skin types and hoping you are right for such a great product. Well, it’s does. And it is. And you are.”
The text is written in small letters though, so it doesn’t look the least bit tacky or kitschy. As for the product itself, it’s super moisturizing, mildly greasy, relatively fast absorbing, and comes in a variety of scents including unscented (I tried the new Citrus Bergamut, which has a nice light orang-y/grapefruit smell). I have several of Consonant’s products. Their Vanilla-clove soap is to die for and leaves your skin so soft. I’m currently using their foaming face wash and it is a bit hard on my dry skin, better suited for oilier skins. Their products are definitely worth a try.
