I haven’t been this excited for a fragrance I can’t technically wear in a long time! This week, at the Paris Haute Couture shows, Roger Vivier has unveiled its first-ever fragrance aimed at–you guessed it–the well-heeled (pun intended). Debuting at the end of September/early October, the project–a series of five individual scents–take into account the clients of the storied French shoemaker as reinterpreted by Vivier brand ambassador Inès de la Fressange and Rami Mekdachi, olfactory director on the project.

Each scent highlights one key ingredient: iris, neroli, rose, sandalwood or amber. The fragrances come in flacons with a square gold cap, recalling the brand’s signature shoe buckle.

$181.75 for 50-ml eau de toilette spray, available at Roger Vivier boutiques
