Blow, Non-Stick Hair Spray

I have not tried the Blow, Dry Bar in New York (I will for sure when I’m there for Fashion Week!) but I did get a bottle of their non-stick hairspray formulated for blowouts. Whenever you get blowouts, they grab a section of hair, spray hairspray on it then work on it. And they move on the the next section. You can imagine after doing this to your whole head of hair, you end up with A LOT of hairspray in your hair. I hate that stuck hairspray feel, or even the heavy sticky feel when it supposedly still flows freely. But this is truly the most weightless hairspray I’ve ever used. I didn’t get a professional blow out, I just used it at home, so I’m sure I didn’t spray as much as they would have in a salon but I still made a pass on every section of hair I worked on and the result was pretty light and free flowing. Did it feel like I had no hairspray? No, but I wasn’t weighed down by an abundance of gunk. When used as just a finished spray, you get a very light coverage that still gives you prolonged style and volume. All in all, I’m happy with this and will be using this when I’m doing “special” hair. At Durgstore for $19.75.
