Estée Lauder Fall 2010 Blue Dahlia Collection

Estee Lauder’s Fall 2010 Blue Dahlia Collection just hit counters last week and it’s one of my favorite fall launches. Designed by the brand’s creative make-up director Tom Pecheux, this is the collection that was used at the F/W 2010 Derek Lam show. The eye shadow palettes are not only gorgeously packaged in a gold compact, they come with two double-ended brushes and 5-complementary shades (all of which actually appeal to me!). They have a few palettes, but my fave is the Blue Dahlia one. I literally dabbed a bit of four of the five shades onto my lids and then topped them with the fifth, a cream-colored glittery shade – and it looked great! Love the new nail color too. It’s actually a bit darker than it looks on their website. I applied two coats and it almost looked black in some lights, but with a slight iridescence to it – so chic! Check-out the full collection here.
