Tokidoki Eye Liner

I’m not a fan of animé, but bold and bright colors always attract my eye. Both of the Sephoras near my apartment are completely decked-out with Tokidoki signage, so I checked-out the brand’s section last time I hit up the store. I was actually there to pick-up a cleanser, but as soon as I saw the Tokidoki Perfetto Eyeliner in Carina ($16) I knew I had to own it. I don’t actually like the cartoon-ish drawings on the eyeliner packaging all that much, but the colors and the unique tip are awesome. The tip was inspired by graphic artist pens and easily applies as thin or as thick as you want. The formulation is also quick drying, doesn’t smudge, it’s very very long lasting, and it can double as shadow. Kind of reminds me of a liner version of YSL Touch Eclat crossed with MAC’s bold colors.

Have you tried anything from the Tokidoki line?

DO YOU LOVE IT OR HATE IT?

  1. I tried out the lipstain marker, but I found that it beads of if you rub your lips together after it dries. (kind of like cheap lipstains do?) I ended up going for Josie Maran’s marker instead.
