Flippin’ Frogs Game

flippinggrogsgame.jpg

Since my daughter started speech therapy (she has a lisp), we have been introduced to a whole new slew of games. Playing is a big part of therapy, she has to practice saying a word or sentence before taking a turn. Needless to say, she LOVES going to speech because there is a new game every time. One of the favorites so far is this Flippin’ Frogs Game. There is a catapult that launches the sticky frogs toward a tree full of branched surfaces for them to land on. There are different levels, you can turn it on so the tree and branches spin around and around (the harder option is to have the tree spin and the branches rotating at the same time). Of course, for smaller tots, it’s hard enough having the tree stay still. But with luck and some practice, they frogs do eventually land on the trees. It’s not only fun (and a great incentive for therapy) but helps their motor skills and an introduction to physics. At Amazon for $22.19.
