While Keira Knightley was chic and sexy in Chanel Couture, Carey Mulligan was comfortable and cool at the premiere of their new film, “Never Let Me Go,” in London.   Though Keira was the one to make me swooning and jealous at the same time, Carey didn’t disappoint.
Wearing Vionnet Spring 2011, the teeny weeny actress chose not to belt the dress as presented on the runway.  Usually I think if a dress is belted and looks good belted, wear it belted.  But here she is so tiny I find it doesn’t look like a maternity tent on her.  The pleated chiffon fits her beautifully and I love the geometric details.
Plus, isn’t her hair precious?  She reminds me of a chic ballerina. A chic ballerina that also is the lover of Even Steven, I mean Shia LaBeouf.  So dreamy.  I digress.  Her shoes?  Sorta gross me out with this dress.  Excuse moi, but is that a rafia platform? So they are Giuseppe Zanotti for Vionnet gold wedges and they were paired with the dress originally. I get it, but I don’t have to like it.  So what do you think?
