Le tout Paris’ Who’s Who–and then some–turned out for Carine Roitfeld’s black-tie bash Thursday night celebrating French Vogue’s 90th anniversary. The “Eyes Wide Shut”-themed masquerade ball had more than one guest scouring the city to find the perfect mask. And what a celebration it was.

Miuccia Prada, Olivier Theyskens, Tyra Banks (who made her mask out of cheap fishnet hosiery), Coco Rocha, Francisco Costa (who arrived on the arm of Lara Stone, clad in a custom Calvin Klein Collection creation), Thakoon Panichgul, Antoine and Delphine Arnault, Christopher Bailey, Hedi Slimane, Diane von Furstenberg, Gisele Bündchen, Brian Atwood, Lenny Kravitz and Natalia Vodianova, who came with Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci, were among those who packed the Palazzo di Borgo, or what used to be Karl Lagerfeld’s Parisian residence, forgetting, for a moment, the arduous cobblestone courtyard in favor of partying the night away.

One the highlights of the soiree? The upstairs sweets room, where caramel sculptures served as centerpieces and miniature trees completely covered in berries and macaroons tempted guests into a late night carb fix. Fortunately, guests were able to hide their discretions behind their veils: Karlie Kloss wore a stars and flowers mask made by Stephen Jones to match her Dior dress; Dior fine jewelry designer Victoire de Castellane came dressed as a buxom, and pigtailed, Red Riding Hood, Alexander Wang went incognito in a balaclava, Vodianova donned a Philip Treacy lace and feather mask, while Sasha Pivovarova wore printed headscarves. But perhaps the most magnificent? Style maven Anna Dello Russo, who wore a magnificent ball gown of white ruffles custom made by Pucci’s Peter Dundas, which she paired with a Gareth Pugh headdress of steel feathers.
