It is just what I expect from the Brits to have a line of prim and proper bags with a hint of jolly fun. Radley London has an incredibly line of Frugal Snob bags with quality and finish that is definitely all Snob. This is the best value I’ve seen in a long time. The Grosvenor tote is a classic ladylike everyday bag but the subtle details in the straps and flap is giving Mulberry a run for their money. It has the same effortless chic but with even less effort – when people use the term “quiet luxury”, it’s an euphemism for expensive. Here the quiet refers to your husband when he sees the price tag =) At Radley London for $418. Also comes in black, tan, crimson and purple but I love the “Carrot”!!

What I also love about this bag, is that it does not seem to be overly ‘stiffened’. Hardware blends in beautifully, I agree with you, it is the ‘Tame, quiet’ kind of luxury, sans the logo prints and buckles – all pure substance, and gorgeous materials… LOVE!
