Spikes are definitely the new fringe – just when you think they’re going to fizzle out, they’re back to being everywhere! I’m liking Jessica Alba’s incorporation of the trend with her stacked Joomi Lim Spiked Bracelets. The brand is designed by a husband-and-wife team (so in awe of anyone that can live and work with the same person!), and balances the hard, biker edge of spikes with a streamlined design. While I’m not a fan of Alba’s dress, I do like the idea of pairing these stacked gunmetal pieces with an ethereal white dress.
If you’re a fan of this design, check-out Lim’s headbands. The brand is actually best known for their hair accessories (thank you Blaire Waldorf), and jewelery was just added recently. Spiked headbands are a bit over-kill for my taste, but would you wear them?
