Before you say anything- I already know. I am a sucker for textured, buttery brown leather bags. I know. It’s a problem I am trying to work on.
But who could help loving this sand colored quilted matelassé leather bag? Not this girl. I am sold.
Look at the handbag strap, pure braided beauty. It also has a crossbody strap that obviously I’m obsessed with because I try to wear everything as a crossbody to keep my hands free for shopping, drinking and petting puppies. I even wear things crossbody that don’t necessarily have a crossbody strap. Like my grocery bag, that ends up looking like a tiny backpack.
This bag would be perfect for everyday wear as well as on a casual date. Wear it with some tall black boots or short booties and a fitted jacket for a polished, chic and carefree look.
Also, this bag would make a fabulous Christmas present for a special someone. If this is under my tree come December 25th, I will dance for 3 hours straight to “All I want for Christmas Is You” at my family party wearing a Santa outfit. That will probably happen regardless, but at least this would give me an excuse.

Emma, I too am a sucker for textured, buttery brown leather bags. I have more than any reasonable person should (and that does not mean I plan to stop!). This, however, leaves me underwhelmed. I don’t know why, but Miu Miu always seems to remind me of Marc by Marc Jacobs. And, I can never understand why Miu Miu bags are priced as they are – weren’t they supposed to be the trendier, slightly less expensive little sister of Prada?
I know, I am always a bit surprised at the price as well. Also, I’m glad to know I’m not alone in my buttery brown bag obsession! 🙂
umm isn’t this bag years old? this looks like the miu miu coffer which admittedly I do love, but has been around for ages!
Agree, since I don’t follow miu miu now, I don’t know the difference between this and coffer. Admittedly I bought black coffer way back in 2007 and I still love it to death!
