New Dermalogica Age Reversal Eye Complex

In September Dermalogica launched their Age Reversal Eye Complex ($75) and I was sent a sample to try out. I’m not the best candidate to test-out eye cream as my under-eye area is already pretty smooth, wrinkle-free and dark circle-free, but I credit that to consistently using eye cream day and night! I usually prefer an eye stick for the morning because I can put it in the fridge and it gives a nice pick-me-up in the AM, so luckily this Complex is meant only for nighttime use (it must be used for the first two weeks on alternate nights, then every night thereafter).

I met with one of Dermalogica’s reps 3 weeks ago and I have to say the amount of research that goes into each of their products is pretty exceptional. Dermalogica runs a whole school that trains thousands of aestheticians and they refuse to be sold at stores like Sephora because they don’t have licensed experts to guide you through their products. Their new Eye Complex has proven to be so effective, in both the long and short term, that Dermalogica is using it as the basis of a new 20-minute MicroZone treatment developed to boost cell-production and give the eye a more energized look. For those who’ve never had one, Dermalogica’s MicroZone treatments are targeted 20-minute problem-solving sessions for people with time constraints (which here in NYC seems to be everyone…), who have a pressing skin concern requiring professional care. Unlike a mini facial, the treatments are meant to treat only one issue at a time and they include rapid spot clearing, blackhead relief, lip renewal, hand repair, and men’s skin fitness.
