Valentino’s resort collection in one word: studded. The nubby little fixtures adorned everything from shoe straps to bag handles to even the tips of ballet flats. While some of it resulted in overkill, this Rockstud single handle bag stood out as a solid prospect. What would otherwise be a plain red leather bag is given an extra dose of oomph thanks to a generous–but not too generous–dose of gold studs. They add a nice panache don’t you think? The structured, ladylike bag is also made ever more youthful thanks to the rebellious accoutrement. Keep in mind, however, that this bag wasn’t designed to accommodate heaps of magazines and newspapers–that is ONE single leather strap supporting the entire bag. That would undoubtedly explain why the ladies who’ve been spotted with this bag, including Sarah Jessica Parker, have also been toting around a larger tote to fit their “less polished” necessities.

I like the gold studs too, just the perfect amount for this type of polished looking bag. I wonder though- it looks like it’s made of a hard material, I prefer bags with a bit of give.
