Unfortunately, the name of this bag did not make me think of the galaxy we live in, it made me think of the candy bar and now I have a huge craving for the chocolate caramel goodness and am drinking 5 gallons of water to dry to drown it.
The Balenciaga Milkyway Crossbody is an interesting piece. The metallic lambskin is certainly eye catching and would snazz up any outfit, just not mine. Though I really like this bag, I don’t see myself wearing it much. The crossbody look is casual and the metallic certainly dresses it up a lot, but when I am in a laid back mode, my attire usually wouldn’t warrant a metallic finished bag. Basically what I’m saying is, I tend to look stupid in metallic things.
That being said, if you are a metallic person, then this is a smash hit. It is a very unusual color and would go great with a pair of black skinnies and a blazer.
