Oh boy. There I go again, developing an unhealthy crush on a pair of shoes that I will plot to own for the next month and a half. These are insane, and I need them.
I have a confession: I still love pink. I know a couple years ago we all got pinked-out and then Victoria’s Secret ran with it and now every time I see PINK written across the butt of some teenager I want to hit them in the face with a wet noodle. Damn you Victoria.
But secretly, I still love the color. Other than the fact that pink looks great with my skin-tone, hair color and my drink of choice (vodka water with a splash of cran), it’s just plain PRETTY.
Wearing a pair of shoes like this makes you feel different. You won’t walk in these shoes, you will tap dance. I picture myself in the springtime air skipping out of my apartment in my new Dior pumps wearing a cotton handkerchief dress and a tan, or, when I’m feeling dangerous (and after many, many lunges), in these sans tights with a white tank.
These shoes are killer; feminine, but fierce, sweet, but spicy, and all around delicious.
They are exclusively at Saks– so don’t bother shopping around! They are also a steal at $590. Stocking stuffer anyone?

I’m not really a pink girl but I could make an exception for these. I would wear them with skinny black pants/jeans and a sparkly black top.

They are really gorgeous on screen but unfortuntely, it’s not a skintone friendly pink and ends up looking like peptol bismol on my yellow-toned East Asian feet. Oh well, there’s always the black version and the lovely grey peeptoes.
