I don’t think I have ever seen Katy Perry more beautiful. Okay, so I never, ever thought I would say those words. Normally I get annoyed at her silly-clothes shtick, but here, I spy no silly clothes. Nor do I spy a latex dress with 99% of her bubbies showing. Katy attended the premiere of “The Tempest” in LA wearing a stunning Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture gown.
I know this site is about the clothes, but let’s take a moment to notice Katy’s gorgeous hair and makeup. Seriously, I cannot get over this. I love this makeup. I mean, duh she’s a pretty girl, so it’s not a major shocker that she looks good, but this evening she looks particularly beautiful. I think the dress suits Katy more than the model who wore it on the runway. It works bests with her dark hair. The lace on this gown is swoon-worthy. It’s so elegant and lady-like, which is exactly what I personally love in a gown. Edgy and sexy are great, especially on Katy, but this is a nice change. Me gusta.
Two things: I like the shoes but they are far too Spice Girls crica the late 90s to go with an evening piece. Also, the dress makes her look slightly pregnant
