Drew Barrymore in a Sack, Er, Jil Sander: She Said

Remember on “America’s Next Top Model” when they made the girls do a CoverGirl commercial and none of them could say “Lash Blast Mascara” because, well let’s face it, it’s a tongue twister? That is all I think about every time Drew Barrymore is on my tv and is trying to slur out “new CoverGirl’s Lash Blast Volume Blasting Mascara!” She doesn’t have the most articulate voice to begin with, and then they give her that?! Anyway, that’s not even close to the purpose of this post, but you’ll have to forgive me. I don’t have many friends.

CoverGirl Drew attended the 50th Anniversary Party for the makeup line wearing this Jil Sander Spring 2011 “dress.” At least, I think it’s a dress. The color is fantastic. Though her ombre hair is so 2010, it doesn’t look too bad with this tangerine gown. What does look bad with the tangerine gown? The actual gown itself. I can sew, but not very much. I am 100% positive I could’ve made this dress by taking a couple yards of orange fabric and simply gathering a little bit in a random spot on the leg and boom- called it a day. What do you think? Orange you glad I didn’t say it was pretty?
