It’s safe to say Diane von Furstenberg’s jewelry collection for H.Stern is a bona fide success. Last week the two design powerhouses debuted the latest collection in a six-year relationship dubbed Sutras. Inspired by 18th-century Indian mogul jewelry–a locale DVF travels to quite frequently–she collected, the new interpretations were gorgeous. One of my favorites? This rock-crystal and 18-karat yellow gold teardrop ring that was made using ancient techniques. Always with a bit of wit injected, DVF’s favorite “sutras” are engraved on the back of the pieces: Love, Laughter, Freedom and Truth.
