Zoya Intimate Collection

image008.jpg
Loving the new Spring Zoya Collection! It still kills me that I was never able to get my hands on Les Khakis de Chanel (the one thing I want had to be the one thing to sell out during Fashion’s Night Out last September!), but better late than never to get my hands on something equally as great – and cheaper! Zoya is stocked at my two favorite nail salons in NYC (Eve and Polished Beauty Bar), both of which are eco-friendly so it’s a guarantee that all of Zoya’s shades are free of harmful

industrial chemicals like toluene, camphor, formaldehyde,

formaldehyde resin, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) that are known

to cause cancer and birth defects. I’m rocking Gemma as we speak and it’s a nice change from my usual pink, red, and taupe-gray range. It’s got a metallic finish to it, so it’s not as drab as some other takes on this green-ish shade often are. I’m partial to light gray so Dove is another awesome on-trend shade that will work just as well now as it will in the Summer.

Overall though what I’m liking most about the collection is that the shades are not run-of-the-mill, but at the same time they’re not super hard to pull-off (like say essie’s Ninja turtle-like green), and the hints of metallic keep the more neutral shades from being dreary. Jump for the lowdown on all the colors!
