Christian Louboutin Suede Glitter-Platform Sandal: Spice Girls Anyone?

Well, I can’t say these aren’t high enough for my liking. The Christian Louboutin suede glitter-platform sandals will make you almost a half a foot taller. Perfect for those hard to reach places in your kitchen, or for solidifying the story you sometimes tell people when you’re bored at parties that you were once a runway model, but just got bored of all the free clothes, trips and champagne.

These shoes are intense even for me, and I love sparkly/high/insane shoes. I feel like these would be a workout just to stomp around in (which could be a bonus feature) but would get tiring after a while. These remind me of play- shoes I had when I was little …when the world was big, my shoes were tall, and I still thought it didn’t matter how many “m’s” I put in between the E and A of my name. Life was good.

I’m sure these platforms look amazing on the runway and during a good old fashioned game of dress-up, but as for actually executing this look in real-life, I would struggle. I would end up looking like I escaped from a Spice Girls convention and people would flee my path for fear of me crushing them with my giant sparkly pumps.

If you think you can pull off the sparkly giant, you can find these at Neiman Marcus for $895.

  1. I have been very disappointed w/Louboutins as of late. The insane platforms and heels that he has been emphasizing recently make them look like tranny/hooker shoes and the styles are way too flash-in-the-pan trendy. So sad because he used to make the most beautiful and wearable shoes!
