I love Hello Kitty – believe me I do – but I have no desire to look like her, so I’m not so sure about this collection. Is it for kids, you wonder? No way! I would never encourage JonBenét Ramsey behavior. The Say Hello Palette, with its generous selection of colors (four eye shadows and four lip glosses – god forbid you wear it all at once!) is very “child beauty pageant.” But I might consider the Apple Balm, as it satisfies your Hello Kitty nostalgia fix without encouraging you to apply clown makeup. And the taste is like all the Sanrio candy flavors – yum! The subtle red gives a hint of color and really does hydrate the lips, and the packaging is super-cute.
