It’s now more squared off, opposed to the original trapezoid shape, and the contrast of the curvy dark straps and the leather paneling, gives the bag a newly feminine, contoured shape – softer, less impactful, more unassuming. And no more turnlock closure – now just a simple magnetic fastening.
A simple structured top handle with interesting details is easy for the masses to digest and this fluid new shape is just that.
