Cargo Classic Lip Gloss with Timestrip Technology: My Lip Gloss is Smarter Than Yours

cargo_lipgloss_timestrip.jpg

Like most beauty addicts, I have roughly a billion tubes of lip gloss. Okay, not literally one billion, but countless. They are lying around all over; just this morning, a few were discovered in a bag I hadn’t used in awhile. There is NOTHING worse than old lip gloss – that whiff of used car oil upon application, you know what I’m talking about. Fortunately for us forgetful beauty junkies, Cargo has developed an ingenious system for keeping tabs on the age of your gloss. The timestrip system knows when you first open (official shelf life is nine months once opened) and shows what “age” your gloss is currently.

I love this gloss regardless of all this high-tech gadgetry. It’s not smacky-sticky (MAC lip gloss, anyone?), there’s Vitamin E for moisture, and it’s paraben-free. My favorite shade is Alexandria, summer’s perfect neutral pink. Runner-up goes to Luxor, slightly punchier but still natural, perfect for evenings. Only fresh gloss in fresh shades from here on out! On Amazon for $16.50.
