Judith Leiber Mosaic Belt

judithleiber_mosaicbelt.jpg

I may not be a Judith Leiber bag girl, but when it comes to her belts, I am a new convert.  Carolina Herrera had some of her belts in the store and I was immediately drawn to them like moth to a flame. Flame being the operative word. This belt is HOT. It is on 2 elastic chains, uber 70’s chic, and the buckle is the closure. I tried this one with everything – dress, skirt and pants – and each look was better than the last. It has just the right amount of flash (the buckle is actually not that large, this is a skinny belt) but even with all that bling, this was still quiet and readily versatile. It comes in 3 sizes, SML, and you can wear it at the waist or low slung. So, the large will fit a 30″ waist at the waist and the M will fit a 26″ waist at the hips (sorry if this is an odd way to give size reference, I’m going by the girls I was with when trying it on). If you don’t want to bother with sizing, there is the Roxie belt with is an amazing art deco but completely suitable for updated looks. The belt is an adjustable satin and will take you from a 19″ waist to 35″. Both are pieces that will have you praising yourself for making such a wise investment decision. Mosaic Mosaic is $595 and the Roxie is $695.
