Sebastian Professional Styling Sculptors Molding Mud: Breaking the Mold

sebastian_molding_mud2.jpg

I have the mixed blessing of thick hair – as far as I’m concerned, a full mane translates to tough to style. When the product label reads “firm hold,” it usually doesn’t apply to my headstrong strands. But “molding mud”? We might be onto something here. It’s actually recommended for thicker and layered hair types. While Sebastian‘s cream won’t meld my mane into a faux-hawk (purely for the sake of making a point, of course!), it’s good for a textured, tousled look – about as piecey as I ever want to get anyway. Especially when I work it into dry hair. (Maybe it just didn’t dry the right way when I applied it to my wet hair – my ends went wild, turning in all the wrong directions.) This mud is best on day-after hair that’s been styled with a curling iron. Already kind of messy, I maximize the muss and go for full-on beachy, rumpled locks. On Amazon for $15.07.
