With all the stories that have come out recently about fragrances that smell like blood and semen, have urine in them, are made with human poo, or ones that smell like nothing at all, I wouldn’t have been surprised if Whole Truth Solutions’ Cigarettes & Coffee was a stinky mess! But thankfully, far from it. The bar combines cocoa, espresso, and coffee grounds (for exfoliation), with avocado oil, butter almond, and ginger essentials oils so it’s not too sweet which I like. Not sure where the cigarette part comes in, but I’m a fan of coffee being Incorporated into beauty products. Also I’m a sucker for packaging, cute names, and quirky designs so I love that all the soaps in the line have interesting but approachable names/scents (Crouching Tiger Hidden Jasmine, Along The Shore, Pumpkins from Pomppy Seeds, Vanilla Berry Truffle, Cinnamon Girl…).
Each bar ($7) is eco-friendly, composed of all natural, plant-based ingredients, and handmade so no two are exactly the same. A lot of the bars also incorporate healing herbs and tea blends and while I didn’t feel any different than usual after using Cigarettes & Coffee and Crouching Tiger Hidden Jasmine, herbs and tea blends can’t hurt, right?
