Don’t you love it when Chanel gives us something new and invigorating? Their latest is a take on the classic flap bag and is sure to be an instant classic. Of course I’m a fan of the original, but this update from the Paris-Byzance collection is so much fresher and younger! Not to mention super-tactile. With that inviting bubble quilt that’s lush and comforting, you just want to cozy up to it under your arm and never let go.
The flap is far-reaching, going all the way down, only adding to the plushness. It also comes in black and gray, but atypical terra cotta is gorgeous beyond words – and really highlights the antiqued hardware. Keep in mind, the interior space is small (especially considering all the volume). It’s not your everyday carry-all, but wouldn’t you want to save such a treasure for special days anyway?
