Underarm Pads: Snob or Slob?

Admittedly 95% of why I tried these 1-2 Dry Underarm Pads is because I thought they were funny. Seriously these pads literally look more or less like “those pads” and I’m supposed to put them in my tops!? The other 5% however was actually curious because this time of year I often find myself wearing sleeveless tops when I rather be wearing something longer just to avoid embarrassing sweat marks.

The pads come in three sizes and are sold in either white or black packs so they can coordinate better, but even when I tried the white ones on a white short-sleeve top they didn’t blend in well. I’d imagine that if you favor super fitted styles or want these for a blouse these could work, but I like loosely draped clothing with wide sleeves so there are few – if any – tops I could see myself wearing where it wouldn’t be obvious that I had a pad in each of my underarm sections. Is that more embarrassing than sweat stains? I guess that’s debatable. The other problem I had with these is that they look and feel just like Kotex Pads, so they moved around and at one point one actually fell out. I won’t be using these, but if you favor tight clothing or blouses made from materials that would adhere well to these pads (they’re just as lightly sticky as Kotex), perhaps they’re something you might want to try. Let me know if you do…I’m curious about your experiences!

  1. Funny, I have actually tried them not to long ago with the same curiousity, but found them to work pretty well. Did not show wet stains in my favourite blouse all day… Will try again tomorrow!!

  2. Sadly that’s what I discovered…it’s more or less no different than just sticking a panty liner in your top. The shape is a tiny bit different, but nothing that would make it any more or less effective and it’s not very effective to begin with.
