Delfina Delettrez Papillon Ring: Hold the Tux

You all know by now that I’m totally into statement rings. Well, here’s one to beat all others! It may be called the “Papillon,”but this is no demure butterfly.

As a fourth-generation Fendi, jewelry designer Delettrez doesn’t disappoint (she has already used frogs, skulls, bones, and snails as references for her past collections). Taking the menswear trend to a whole new level, her “Papillon” ring is actually a bow tie for your finger! And it’s the sleekest, most appealing tie I’ve ever seen. Part of her Spring 2011 “We-Man” collection, with necklaces inspired by men’s shirt collars, this pink silver ring is fun, whimsical, and eye-catching – you’d have to be pretty unobservant to miss this one (it’s also just under three inches in length!). Papillon, bow tie, who cares? I just know I have to have it! At Opening Ceremony for $280.

Pair with: Ensure you’re fingers are avant-garde from beginning to tip with one of Chanel‘s new fall nail polishes, all highly metallic. Choose between Quartz, light bronze, Peridot, a holographic gold-green, and Graphite, textured silver. At Chanel for $25.
