Thakoon Rocks Your World and Your Fall Wardrobe

thakoon_fall_wardrobe.jpg

Thakoon first wows with a stunning runway show with enough drama to fill the Plaza’s Grand Ballroom but the brilliance here is pulling off a retail offering with the same mood that is wearable. Some pieces are straight off the runway, but as a separate you can start to see how this can be incorporated in to your wardrobe with ease.

I wish I was wearing the Thakoon Drawstring Dress (for $550) right now. The bright green with the batik inspired print for dinner party or work meeting is all right there when you need it. And trust me, you will need it.

The Thakoon Bustle Skirt (for $1490) requires a little more imagination but with the holidays coming up, you can easily find occasion for the flourish.

This is my kind of going out skirt, the Side Drape Skirt (for $690) has just the right amount of flair and can be dressed up or down.

I love the modern cut of this Knit Jacket ($1490). The asymmetrical lapel allows you totally different looks either by wearing it single buttoned on top or fully buttoned all the way. Talk about a day to night look, you don’t even have to get off the phone to pull this look together on the cab ride over to dinner.

This is the formal gown that neither tries for the typical red carpet look nor looks like a lame prom dress with frills and poofy meringue. Cool, edgy, opinionated, the Abstract Print Gown ($1290) tells everyone what you’re all about.
