Favorite Beauty Looks from London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week always has some of Fashion Month’s most entertaining beauty looks. It’s not about the natural and the effortlessly beautiful in London, it’s about blue lipstick and clown-like red cheeks! I don’t think any of us will be replicating the below looks as is, but they’re definitely great for anyone looking for inspiration to take their look in a bolder direction.

1. Meadham Kirchhoff: Doesn’t this beauty look make you think back to when you were young and first started playing with makeup? There’s such a fun innocence about it. And the wigs — they’ve inspired me to dress up as a poodle this Halloween just so I can have an excuse to buy one.
2. Topshop Unique: Between Topshop and Marc by Marc Jacobs it’s clear that we just might be ditching the headbands and wraps for visors come Spring 2012.
3. Mary Katrantzou: This model doesn’t look very happy and I guess I wouldn’t be very happy either if I had to leave a show with blue lipstick, but it looked great on the runway against all the vibrant prints the designer showed. Not all models had this shade on their lips however. Like the designer’s prints they ranged from lime to turquoise to melon.
4. Vivienne Westwood Red Label: Westwood’s collection may have been a bit more tame than usual, but her makeup and hair was as fantastically wild as ever!
5. Burberry Prorsum: I like that Burberry went natural with dewey skin and muted lips, but gave the models’ an edge with kind of strunk-out, slightly shimmery pale brown eyes.
