3.1 Phillip Lim Colorblock Small Pashli Zip Clutch: Kangaroo Pouch

I cannot live without a pouch like this for all my loose ends in a bigger satchel. Some come with lots of my favorite bags (Tiffany & Co., Gerard Darel, Bottega Veneta), and I always repurpose them for bags that lack them. But one accompanied by a wristlet, making it possible to function as a casual clutch on its own: as essential as breathing. Especially when I’m on a trip – we are on our way to Florence! Yay!

3.1 Phillip Lim’s Pashli is pouch perfection. With a contrasting, dual-toned outer pocket, finished off with a clasp, it commands the formality of a legit clutch. The pocket is handy for credit cards and bills, while the main body houses keys and phone. You don’t even need much more…Seriously, what else is in that giant heavy bag of mine, anyway?

The color-blocking is cute for now, especially as an organizational accessory or fun-time clutch. At this price, don’t even sweat how long it will stay trendy. A few uses and you’ll be so dependent, you won’t even care (besides, next season there will be a new and improved version to upgrade to). My birthday is coming up. Friends, sister and husband 😉 – I’m letting you get away easy this year! At Barneys New York for $425.

Pair with: Toss either of these into Maje’s expansive top-handle tote, a stylish mix of black leather and leopard-print calf-hair and worry not about scrambling for important items.
On Net-a-Porterfor $840.
